Fuel Pump for 1962 Ford F500????

New here and hoping someone here can help
I just recently inherited a 1962 Ford F500. It has an inline six. 4.3 maybe.

Any way it needs a new fuel pump. I can't find any reference to this truck for some reason.

Does anybody know where I can get a fuel pump for it?

I might have to go electric but would rather stick with the original.

Thanks

Ron M

My 61 F500 had a six cylinder. Cannot answer you question, but I can tell you that that engine most likley a 223 cubic inch six,Changed my six to a 292. Try searchin the 223.

Howdy,

I did a little search for a 262 fuel pump. Rock Auto among others, has some parts for the 262 fuel system but NOT a fuel pump.

I also couldn't find a 262 fuel pump.

If it's a 223, there's a pump available.

Maybe the number dummy can find a suitable replacement part number.

If you can get a part number from it you might write to Airtex and ask them if they make a replacement.
