Personally I REALLY dont like that truck for these reasons:
1) What is that *thing* on the front? A snow plow?! 2)Torq Thrust wheels should be reserved, in my opinion, for 1960-1970 muscle cars 3)Rice Burner interior, nuff said 4)From the top view picture it looks like a boat 5)That stripe gotta go, same with the ford oval stamped in the CENTER of the tailgate. 6)Dual 3.5" exhaust? Straight from the exhaust manifold? That thing must have NO torque! prolly sounds pretty tough though... :) 7)Big round fog lights gotta go, do something to the front end...seriously... 1995 F-150XL SC/SB http://members.sounddomain.com/blind 5-Star Rated F-150 (Big Stereo) |

It is just me or does it remind you of the older Rancheros....
I agree with the front end, it needs a few modifications. |

I want to know who gets to "keep" these trucks when Ford is done with the shows? I would really like to buy some of these concept trucks..... Does anyone know what the deal with them is?

Ford doesn't sell them. Often they are either destroyed or put in storage.

If I cut it just behind the wheel openings and widen the bed about 6 inches add on the roll pan ...will the back end fit my 1972 f-250 .......NA think I`ll stay with what i got :) __JOHN__Õ¿ö FTE Club #7 Member- http://www.cruisin-north.com/ Santa Rosa, Calif. 72 F-250 ICQ#6030753 http://www.ford-trucks.net/users/jbhf250/ https://www.ford-trucks.com/pictorial/big/1972_f250_2.html |

I think they better come up with a better tread design for that much power, otherwise you will see alot of them in the ditches....

i think the power should be bumped up a bit more, 380 is what todays lighning makes isnt it? well maybe thats just what they put in the concept truck

Actually Ford made a truck like that before them, so Chevy is taking our idea, of course. Ford has the Supercrewzer which was unveiled September 27, 2000. The Bruin was unveiled October 31, 2000, about a month later. The Supercrewzer is based on an F-650 design, GVWR of 23,000 lbs, and a GCWR of 43,000 lbs. Has a Cat 3126B Diesel w/ 300 HP and 860 lb-ft torque. The Bruin, on the other hand, I'm not sure which model it's based on. It runs on a Duramax 6600 V8 Turbo Diesel putting out a similar 300 HP, yet it only manages 520 lb-ft torque. The GVWR is only 18,000 lbs, and the GCWR is only 26,000 lbs. Sufice to say, we had one of the monsters first, and even when Chevy did come out with one like us, it didn't even come close! Both can be seen at the following sites:
