Fuel pump going out??
Has anyone logged their fuel pump DC on their AE?? I tried but all I got was 100.01%. So either my pump is going out, which I think it may be since I can't get over 60PSI on my regulator, or I'm just not able to read that parameter on the AE.
Let me know what you've gotten, if you can get it to work. And any good ideas for a new pump; bosch, walbro?? |
I don't think that's something that applies to our trucks...

I am with Joe on this, I don't know if that is a parameter that is meant for our trucks. How long have you been getting 60 psi? Is this an in-cab gauge? If so, what do you get when you get on the skinny pedal?

Of course, try changing the fuel filter and see if your pressure returns to normal first.
I have a Bosch 0580464074. It was in the truck when I bought it and so far it has pumped vegetable oil for 20,000 miles so it must be pretty good! I would recommend it. |

No, it's just a gauge on my regulator. I replaced the regulator just recently since I think it quit working and the gauge on it blew. (That's what you get for an ebay special.) I put the new one on a couple weeks ago. The truck seems to run fine, just noticed I couldn't get over 60psi now when according to my ebay gauge/regulator I could get 70+ if I wanted to(at idle).
