New truck!!! 1997 F250HD questions
 

:-dancing1I just picked up a new, used truck tonight.
It is a 1997 F250HD 4x4. I own a 82 F250(ironically red, and single cab as well!lol) and I am pretty familiar with it.
However, it seems that alot of the hardware is different(wth, its only a 15yr difference!:eek:)
Anyhow, guess Im just curious if anyone off the top of their heads can tell me anything about it. I could search all day and piece it together, but, well, frankly, I just wanted to share my excitement!lol:-jammin
It is nice to have air, cruise, and a truck alot like my oldie but goodie!
The truck has the 351 and auto.
Its got 238,000 on it, but the motor was either rebuilt or replaced at some point, and man this thing runs good!
What T case?
E40D?
Front is a D50 w/the HD package, right?
Sterling rear?
What HP are these motors rated at?
What MPG are yall gettin?
What are trouble spots?
How can I determine the ratios?
FWIW, I gave 3200 for it and KBB was 4740, so I guess I did pretty good?
Guess just any general, or technical discussion would be appreciated!
