Looking for wiper rebuild kit

I have been looking for a vacuum wiper rebuild kit for a while now. All I keep finding in searches is "The Wiper Man" and people say he sells kits. But his website says he doesnt.

So does anyone know of a place that sells wiper rebuild kits preferably for a trico model vacuum wiper motor?

Thanks in advance.

I would have to go through my 15th edition hemmings almanic again but it appears the only places I have found was "the wiperman" who rebuilds them which theres not much to them just a few gaskets. Would like to take it apart to clean out the old dried up grease and oil and use fresh.

But I will check the book again though just thought I would put this out there if anyone has seen them before online

You might check here

http://www.autorestorermagazine.com/ar/

This is the website for a thin mag with few or no ads. You might have to subscribe to find the info, but if you're doing vacuum wipers, you might find it interesting.

At any rate, in the mag itself, they have a few good pages of reader letters re tech -- as well as a few pages of 'Ask the mechanic'. They cover a lot of old timey stuff.

There might also be some info on some of the sites dedicated to specific older vehicles. (Older Cads, Lincolns and Buicks come to mind)

Anyway I take it that you like wipers that stop at highway speed and sound like bongos when you're at a stop sign (j/k) :-X21

I checked Hemmings almanac I got and under wipers the only places pertaining to vacuum wipers listed are rebuilding or NOS companies that sells NOS units. Didnt see one selling parts. Guess I will just have to try some wd40 sprayed in through the opening and move the linkage back and forth to clean the old out. Just pray that nothing is messed up from age so I dont have to spend $108 to have it rebuilt.
