Bench for buckets or a 40/20/40?
 

I have a 96 f-150 extra cab... it currently just has a split bench seat, as I am rather tall I would like a seat that reclines at least a bit, does the 40/20/40 let you do this? Also I have a line on 2 bucket and a center console, can I just pull out the bench and bolt these babies in?

After many years of dreaming I finally have my red ford, and I love it! But, I am a newbie, and well I just don't wanna tear into this and have it look crap.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The buckets will fit but will require some drilling.

I replaced the split folding bench with the 40/20/40 and it is a direct bolt in. They do recline somewhat, I would guess 20-30 degrees, (can take a pic if you like). They tip plenty far for driving, just not enough to sleep on.:-X17

Charlez, thats a nice seat. Where did you get it and how much was it? I'm looking for a seat like that (40/20/40) for my 78 supercab. Thanks.

Just a question does the middle 20 have storage or cupholders when you fold it flat? I love my truck, but man, I miss cup holders!

Well, I picked this one up off ebay for about $300 +$100 shipping. (east coast to Nebraska). As for the console, it has both. The cupholders were a definate bonus.:-X22
