'91 F-250 Knocks
 

i have a 91 f-250 with the 5 speed, and today i noticed a mild knocking coming from the tranny area. it only makes noise when the clutch pedal is released, so im thinking throw out bearing? anyone have any ideas?

Thats what I would guess as well. Whenever there is a noise that goes away when the clutch is pushed in, I think throwout bearing. That may not be whats wrong though. Is there any other symptoms? Maybe some one else will chime in with more input.

no other symptoms other than the knock. ive got a buddy who owns his own shop who will look at it for free, so i think thats my next stop. thanks.
