National Trails, Columbus....>UMTR!!!

Ok, Saturday Aug. 15th the UMTR invades Columbus. We'll have near 100 stick shift cars doing battle as both the North and South group run together once a year at Trails.

Gates open 8am, time trials mid morning, eliminations mid afternoon. There are a couple other classes running also, but if you like hi wind'n, gear jam'n, wheel standing drag racing then it's a great show to see.

I'll be there and not hard to find.

BTW, if you have a stick shift vehicle(whatever it is), you can run with us. You don't have to be a member/in points to run. Just come to the UMTR trailer and sign in. $25 for street stick, $50 for Quick stick.

Well, ya, it was near unbearable. It was 80* in the shade, but I check the surface in the staging lanes and it was 132* !! (infared thermometer).

I didn't have a stellar day of racing, but did keep my points lead(good thing). Going to QuakerCity this Saturday to try again. Need to get my point spread back up to a bigger number as the final race in Sept is a double points day and can REALLY screw things up.
