RSS - Always solid tone

My Reverse Sensing System just started to give me a solid tone when in reverse. The cut-out switch on the dash still works correctly. I cleand the RSS sensors - did not fix problem. Does anyone know which fuse controls the system (2004 diesel) so I can check it? Any other suggestions?

That happens to me in the winter when a sensor ice's over. A good scan (Snap on, OTC) tool will run diagnostics on the RSS module.

I have the same issue. It goes "beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep" when I go into reverse. Of course I hit the button to turn it off.

Either one of the sensors is bad, or it is the module itself. Like I said, you either need the Ford scan tool, IDS, or a good aftermarket one like Snap on Modis or a OTC Genisys to "talk" to the RSS module. The cheap Auto Zone type will not work.

Thanks Rod, Found a cracked sensor. Replaced and now ready to back down the road. Appreciate your response.
