351C 4V Heads CC Differences
Can anybody tell me what the overall difference would be between the D1ZE 64.6 - 67.6 cc 4V heads and the DOEA 61.3 - 64.3 cc 4V heads?? Both heads are closed chamber. I know the cc difference in minimal but curious how much more power the larger cc chamber heads would make?
Thanks. |
The smaller chamber should make more power as it would raise the compression.

D1ZE-B (351 C Boss) is 66.1 cc and it's equipped with adjustable rocker arms and pushrod guide plates. HO uses open-type combustion chamber, other wise same as '71 Boss.
after D1ZE or DOAE your suppose to have another number. DOAE-H, R 70-71 by exemple have 62.8 cc with larger valve and porting than 2v head. 2.19/1.71 vs 2.04/1.66 D1ZE-GA 72-74 351C-4V have 75.4 cc open-type combustion chamber and induction-hardened exhaust valve seats. 351M/400 78.4 cc open type combustion chamber with small port. |
