I need a Cam for a 7.3L

Hello, I have just pulled my motor due to low oil pressure and I have come to find that the motor has spun 2 cam shaft bearings and my cam shaft has some rough spots in it. I am pretty sure that I need a new one now. Im not sure about the block it is getting measured to see if it was messed up. But anyways my question is does anybody know where I can get a cam for a 7.3? Thanks

Who is measuring the cam wear? If they don't know where to get one, go elsewhere.

Stock or modded?

DI and Carson both have cams that are getting it done. Maximum lift, no overlap.

I know of a guy in the Seattle area that sells a custom ground cam (his own specs) that guys have been happy with as well.

I took it to a local shop that works on diesel motors. I was just wanting to get some responses from people to see what some options are for one.

You can get your cam re-ground and brought back within spec.
