Only 45,000 miles. Would be a good buy for someone looking for a late model Power Stroke powertrain! High bid is only at $1,200 so far................

We ran Powerstrokes in E 450 chassis on the fleet of ambulances where I used to work. Put lots and lots of miles behind a Powerstroke over the years. Never had an engine failure. The EOD trannys on the other hand could be a bit problematic. Broke 100 mph on I-5 a few times, that's in a 13,000 lb ambulance with horrible aerodynamics. Wish I could afford something like that and drop it into my '79!

GRRRRR.....Power Strokes.......I'm the main diesel mechanic at my work. The P-Stroke is one that I have a love/hate relationship with. At times, they are the most difficult thing to diagnose, and get fixed, and at times, you take one look at them and know exactly what the problem is.

I'll stick with my 7.3's!:-jammin

I gotta say, I do like the P-Stroke, but I am also kind of partial to the Caterpillars, and the bigger Cummins engines. There isn't a P-Stroke in the world that has that same distinct sound of a Cummins with a big cam, and big open pipes, especially when hittin the jake coming down a grade.

I'm a huge cummins fan. I've driven them all, but still love the big cummins the best!
