Truck running cold?

Ran down to the big city yesterday to pick up some stuff for the truck (bought a door shell for $250 from one guy and sway bar end link bushings and a stabilizer from another for $30, thanks Craigslist!) and noticed that while running at 65-70mph my pyro was only showing 450-500 degrees. DP Tuner set to 100 perf, truck is running fine. Any ideas?

I sounds good to me.

Cruisin on the flat that sounds pretty good. I usually run a little higher than that due to the 4.10 and running a higher rpm at that speed.

Good find on the goodies! The stabilizer that I pulled off isn't in as good of shape as I thought. Still got the trailer plug when you're ready.

What temps did you normally see? I would expect to see them about 100* hotter.

Yahtzee... normally running at 65 I see about 600-650.

Ryan- don't give up on me, if I hadn't found the good deal on this door I'd be sending a check your way :D

I'm usually around 600-700 at 65-70 mph.

That's where I normally run.

I run about 450-500 at 60-65. Maybe 500-600 at 70ish. On flats, it gets close to 500 at 70 for me, but I have a van turbo -- it should be lower. Was it raining or anything unusual to make the intercooler work better??

I got a question for everyone: if i'm cruising at 65 running approx. 3-4 lbs. boost and then, hit a hill good enough to make you push 7-10 lbs. boost, my egts will be 900-1000. Is this normal?

Yes, that sounds right -- no downshift, correct?

It was cool and cloudy, not raining, but even driving in the rain and in colder weather I've never noticed the EGT's quite that low while cruising. Could have just been a fluke, but even in the afternoon when the sun came out and the weather was nicer the EGT's stayed the same. I figure I'll just keep an eye on it and see what shakes out.
