3" pipe intake mod
Well I did it this afternoon and everything went great thanks to another member.
One problem I had was it was taking forever to sand the pipe down to make it fit just right. So I used a table saw to run the pipe along side of to get it down to size more quickly. Took it for a drive and I could tell it had a bit move of get up and go when you punched the gas. Painted the clamp and pipe gloss black and you can't even tell that it's not OEM....looks that good http://i221.photobucket.com/albums/d...d/DSCF3309.jpg http://i221.photobucket.com/albums/d...d/DSCF3310.jpg http://i221.photobucket.com/albums/d...d/DSCF3306.jpg |
Did you have to do some cutting in the fender to make the new piece fit?
