3" pipe intake mod
 

Well I did it this afternoon and everything went great thanks to another member.

One problem I had was it was taking forever to sand the pipe down to make it fit just right. So I used a table saw to run the pipe along side of to get it down to size more quickly.

Took it for a drive and I could tell it had a bit move of get up and go when you punched the gas.

Painted the clamp and pipe gloss black and you can't even tell that it's not OEM....looks that good

Did you have to do some cutting in the fender to make the new piece fit?

I trimmed the pipe some to get it to fit just right. Ran the pipe along side a table saw to take the sides down on it and then finished it off with a good sanding then paint.

Hmmmmmmm I just might be trying that soon... Sweet mod
