just got back from an awards ceremony at the college where she received an academic achievement award

Congratulation, It is great to be recognized for good achievements. Bart I know how good it feels to be married to a smart women. Vici has maintained a 4.0 grade average through out her graduate degree & was asked to join the Kappa Delta Pi which is the International Honor Society for Education. She was recommended for membership by Grand Canyon University where she is doing her Master Degree.
So again CONGRATULATIONS to you both.
