What's everyone doin'?

I've "come back" but everone has left? Everyone taking time out to enjoy our sunny weather lately?

I have almost finished up my dog's new house here this past weekend. Last fall I framed and sheathed it. Now I've finished his shingles, siding and still pondering a window on the rear wall. We have a few pieces of UV-safe 1/4" lexan at the shop and thinking of framing my own window casing-then trimming it out.

Next weekend I have to finish up re-installing and mounting all of my radio gear, mobile modem (hopefully it works now) and switch/distribution boxes. As well as... new power and signal wires/cables.
-30'+ S-O cable; 8 and 10guage mostly (main power)
-over 250' of MTW power and "signal" wire (for relays and controllers)
-12+/- Phoenix Contact ATC fuse holder terminal blocks plus Phoenix terminal blocks for distribution.
Plus some other stuff...

SO whats everyone else upto?

Hey Rich, make sure you put a heat strip in the floor of the dog house, never know when YOU might need it!!..lol.. I have been cleaning yards, pruning tree's, planting flower's, raking sweet gum balls( tons of them ) and putting out mulch. I like the out doors, so this is fun to me. Now I get to change the oil in all the truck's. So that is what I am doing.

Hey Rich, yeah still around, but have been combating illness in the house, Amanda broke her ankle, Rhoda has a chronic broncitis since we got back from Canada in February and made progress on the F100 rebuild, and minor work done on my dually.(Got the big oil leak stopped) now to fix the intercooler and spider boots.

Will be able to start posting more now that I have joined the ranks of Higher speed satellite vs dialup.

Broken ankles aren't fun... I had my share of severe sprains..spiral fractures and once broken ankles while growning up. Keep to the crutches or staying off it will help it heal a lot better. Don't let her hobble around like I did, the orthopedic doctor will give her all kinds of dirty looks.

I hope Rhoda's brochitis clears up soon...

I've somehow missed that f100? I thought you and your son were working on a continental?

I hope we can do a g2g and include all of our new members - Lake Murray was fun wasn't it? It would be nice to touch bases with everyone again!

I am stripping, sandblasting and priming while I try to keep driving the old truck. Thinking about taking out the 4-speed and installing an AOD with a 2500rpm stall converter. I need the overdrive for gas mileage.

tin-man 04-30-2009 09:42 AM

No need to worry about GAS !!!..lol..

I'm just biding my time until I can started at my place in SC. I'll be up in late October to do some work- maybe even throw up a little cabin to stay in. I've got a ton of work to do here in FL before I can get this house on the market, but I'm not in that big a hurry because the market is so bad.

Come on up Jay, I can't wait to meet you
