How to get into the 12s

Whats it take to get a 2000 Lightning to run mid 12s in the quarter mile. Could anyone running these times list your mod's.

How to get into the 12s

There are guys down at the track that run high 12's and they claim all they run is a chip. I don't own a lightning but I would also like to know if they are telling the truth. A 1 second improvement would take more than just some fancy electronics I would think but I don't know enough about it to say for sure.

A chip will average about 1/2 second with the Lightning, depending on the truck's ECU code and the code we program. A boost pulley combined with a chip will get 1+ second results.

Here's some eye opening information:
http://www.modularfords.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=18604

Here's a link to that company's Better Business Bureau report:
http://www.data.bbb.org/scripts/cgii...n&zid=22000144
Their record with the BBB is, IMHO, pretty bad.

DiabloSport receives more support calls from their customers then all other dealers because, IMHO, they refuse to provide good service after the sale. There are companies 10 times their size with a tenth as many complaints. And there are companies of similar size, such as MotorHaven.com, that have zero BBB complaints.

Chip/Filter/Pulley should get you into the 12's with good weather and good driving.

Webmaster...there are tons of threads on various sites complaining about that company. I have never dealt with them personally, but why open yourself up to their tactics when there are plenty of other great venders out there.

Thanks for that link to the BBB.

Yeah, in the last 48 hours another complaint was added to their BBB file.
