:-missingtAug...No it melts very fast in the spring it will be gone by the middle of May.The mountains are another story...sledding in Aug is not out of the question.

Ok you win. We had some snow here last night. It snowed for 3 or 4 hrs and we got somewhere between 2 and 3 inches. Most of it will probably melt away in the next couple days.

Wow, and I was happy riding in 12" of snow on the weekend. Well, if I could, I would head up there for a weekend. Keep enjoying it!

Brickie: How long are u up in Stewart?

I might be heading that way to do some work this summer.

Saleen, Yep I think you have the travel time about right. That is if the road is open. I think it is closed more than open in the winter months, or so we hear.

I take it you have your own boat out there then, or do you go out with someone else!
Man, that is a nice catch and definately nice eating.

brickie 03-17-2009 10:34 AM

15 foot aluminum its not easy pulling one of those of the bottom hand over hand and then into the boat.

Saleenguy 03-17-2009 12:09 PM

Can I ask what you do in Stewart?
