Hey guys, I am going to swap the EFI on my '88 f250 to carb,(460) heads and all.(Had a gutfull of the computer). I am sure there is/are articles in here on this topic but I can't seem to find them...could someone please direct me to this info? Thanks, Geo.

Why change the heads when they flow better and have tighter chambers than the carbed ones?

One reason...I have them. I don't want to get involved with the adapter plate/plugging holes with epoxy. As for the idea that the efi heads are better...I'm not sold on that. Geo.

Also I have found that most aftermarket intakes have asterisks by the applications saying they won't fit 88-89 efi heads.

actually the 88 heads do NOT flow better as stock since they have smaller intake valves then the carb heads do.
I think your confusing the F3TE heads with the earlier E7TE and they are different.
