4x4 Situation when going on snow...

All right, my GEM got wet and everything it's working fine again, I discovered a leak in the windshield. So my recently installed xfer case motor seems to be working fine again, it doesnt behave weird anymore, it does switch HI to LOW and backwards now, but I discovered that my 4x4 flashes only on 4AWD so I think what that might be, the sensors, I will deal with that later BUT here the big question,

ever since I ran over blackice and hitting the frontleft tire bending the the rim, I switch to 4hi or 4low on dry pavement it makes a clunk noise like when the front wheel are turning if i go faster it does it more and more, if I disable the 4x4 by removing the fuse 104, it doesn't make that noise at all, but what it's really weird is THAT WHEN I GO 4X4 HI OR LOW ON SNOW IT WORKS PERFECTLY IT DOESNT MAKE ANY NOISES whatsoever an soon as drive over dry pavement it start making that noise.

Any ideas?

I checked the front hub???, seems perfect, maybe CV AXLE? I dont think the front differential is the problem since everythin inside it's always running and turning.

Anyideas?

Sounds like a CV joint problem.

I'd second the CV joint. If you hit hard enough to bend your rim, you may have done some hidden damage, too.
