We need a combination counter sales person plus installer in our store, which is located in Auburn, MA and which sells truck, SUV, and automotive accessories. This is a position that requires someone who can work Saturdays, with Sundays and one weekday (Monday or Wednesday, typically) off. Experience is preferred but we'll also consider a skilled enthusiast for the position.

Mea Culpa. I was thinking "salesman" and my brain just went straight to "Ken". Sorry about that!

As of last night, both positions are filled.

Business is down, but we're holding our own. These hires are to replace two employees (a husband and wife team) that resigned at the same time.

The husband just got his wastewater treatment plant license and is going to work for the town at a considerable increase in pay. The wife is going to work for her mother and will have hours that let her be home when their kids get home from school.

The good news is that the two new people we hired are coming in at less than the two outgoing so we're reducing our labor costs and that's a good thing right now.
