Locks and Key

Well I have contacted the previous owner more times than I care to mention and he still has not found the keys to the '52 F-6 I purchased from him a year ago.:-bangheadSo I'm in the market for an ignition tumbler, door locks and key to go with them. Anyone have a spare set around at a reasonable price, I would be most interested. Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure if truck tumblers are the same as bikes, but I had a friend that lost the key to his motorcycle, and he called a lock smith. He came out with a key and a file and would stick it in, jiggle it, pull it out, file a little, and repeat. Finally he got it to where it worked. If you find the right one, I'm sure they can make you a key that will fit them all.

A good locksmith can usually recode the locks and ignition to match. If not, then should be able to get the keys made at the very least without having to replace each lock or ignition cylinders. Should cost $20-30 to recode each one.

This type of thing is done in the collision industry all the time.
