Fuel Leak behind fuel bowl

Hey guys, hows it going?I've had a fuel leak for a bit now and just found it. Its leaking from behind the fuel bowl. Theres a line that comes in to the fuel bowl, with 4 screws holding a plate to the fuel bowl. If your looking from the front of the truck the line comes in on the back left side of the fuel bowl. Theres a yellow plastic thing that goes down into the housing. Its dripping from there. Is there an o-ring in there that can be changed? I didnt have time to really check what kind of screws there were, but they appeared to be a torx bit or something, is that right? Thanks guys.TJ

You can also get the Viton Orings from a CAT dealer if there is one around your area and you dont want to wait for shipping. I dont want to take bussiness from a supporter of this site by posting the part #, so if you want the part # you will have to PM me. The cost is about the same as Guzzles.

Common place for a leak. The yellow plastic thing is actually a fuel bowl drain valve. Simply change, but hard to reach. Bob (Guzzle) at Diesel O Rings.Com has them all. He will have them to you in just a day or two.
