Better plan on doing things the old way, buy a good pair of walking shoes, plant a garden big enough to barter (sp) trade for other needs, its going to get worse before it gets better.

I find myself no longer throwing away cardboard boxes, plastic bags, old work boots, single socks (who cares if they match as long as I have a pair of socks on!) ETC

Nothing wrong with having a garden. Nothing wrong with being frugal. Nothing wrong with shopping around and getting best bang-for -the - bucks, and I always try to be this way.
I also believ you have to take trips and have vacations and have family adventures, and I have been for a long time.
SAVE MONEY and spend for what you need. I think this economy world-wide needs more than what I can do to help it. I will actually slow down on my fleet-buying and start with buying up property. Times of recession makes the most million=airs . Buy when you can and hang on to what you got.

I'm thinking about buying some Ford and GM stock. Hey, if it's good enough for Warren Buffet...
