The ranchero never stayed with one plateform, they were fairlanes, falcons, torinio's and LTD II's.

so.... we can get truck on car plateform, but i'm sure plateform will be FWD

Okay Have to ask. With the auto makers the way they are why would it not be a good idea to save cost by interchanging platfroms with vehicles of the same weight class. And realy. How many light trucks (s-10s, rangers, etc.,) actualy see work in commercial applications. Heck it's even getting hard to find 1/2 ton's in that line of work. When it's siad and done 98% of the time the bed is only removed on a truck to replace it with a industry specific bed.
