Welcome back Michelle. You missed the discussion about shooting flintlocks.

Thanks Shaun, I did go back and read it. I don't remember what the name of my guns are but if you asked about pistols I can tell them.
|
well, its time for me to head off to bed and call it a night.

I was never into handguns. I prefer the bigger guns. The muzzleloader that I have is five feet long before I put the bayonet on. That thing is a pain to load if you need a quick reload. The biggest drawbacks are the fact it is a fair weather gun and it is only accurate to 50 yards give or take a few yards.

Have a good night Dave.

Good Night D-dave.

I have problems with rifles but still own them. I like my 9mm the best it is a jennings and I like my 22 revolver ruger pistol.
|
My musket is smoothbore so it makes it grossly inaccurate after 50 yds. The shotgun would be even more accurate if I put a rifled slug barrel on it.

The musket doesnt have as much recoil as people think Michelle. That is largely due to the fact that it can only be loaded with a round ball and black powder.
