broken hubs?
so i towed my friends jeep out to the beach yesterday and everything went fine later that night i started hearing a chirp/squeek when im in 4 wheel drive with my hubs locked in but as soon as i unlock them it goes away what could be my problem here?? do i need new hubs? is it a fairly easy cheap fix?

My hubs did the same thing, they were aftermarket replacements and they went bad. I ended up going with a set of Warn Premium replacements for 200 bucks. The factory hubs are over 300 each.

did you recently have the ball joints replaced- On my 2000 f250, I had the ball joints replaced with aftermarkets- and they have grease fittings that would sometimes chirp/squeek/rub when the hub was locked, and even more so when the 4WD was locked in- the contact between the grease fitting and joint was so minimul that it eventually went away, but there is a very slight mark that the grease fitting made when it rubbed

no i havent had the ball joints replaced since ive owned (6months) and ive never had this problem before it came out of no where
