November North Dakota Chat & Other B/S

Well one of your fellow ND boys (me) got FTE ride of the week for my 1979 F250. Nice to see that someone appreciates all my work. I'm actually kind of proud :), it's only a week but hey I'll take it!

It's listed at the bottom of the FTE home page :-jammin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BTW I see that I'm coming up on 1000 posts, what title do I get for that? I'm an elder user at the moment.

Well we're supposed to start getting a lot of snow tonight. I can't wait, the more the better!!!! Looking forward to doing some snow runnin'.

Everybody drive safe and take your time driving for the next couple of days.

Ah what the heck I'll make a useless post to break my post count into the 1000's. May as well do it here in the ND Chapter!!!!!!!!!!

Big thanks to all of the people that contribute all of the information found on this site! I've learned an unimaginable amount in the last 3+ years!

Edit - I went from an "elder user" to "posting guru", hehe!

Sounds like chapter leader material right here in North Dakota.:)

unrulee 11-06-2008 05:33 PM

Yeah I've been debating on putting my name up for "election". I'm just not entirely clear on what my duties would be. Any extra info?

glruff 11-06-2008 05:52 PM

Did you get a chance to read the guidelines?

If so, then its up to you to run the chapter as you see fit. The CL approves new member join requests, promotes the chapter, tries to setup offline meetings, etc.

I'll get some of the other chapter leaders to post what they do in the nomination thread.

unrulee 11-06-2008 06:25 PM

I figured what the heck it's a chance to meet more like minded gearheads, I put my nomination in.

glruff 11-06-2008 06:30 PM

Good for you!

Now that's what it's all about. Keep in mind, I here to help you and the chapter. All you have to do is ask.:)

Thanks Lee. So what you doing to your 05 that is taking up your time?

unrulee 11-06-2008 07:42 PM

I'll (well we, have to include the wife) have had the truck a year in Jan.

Here we go............So far I've leveled the front with a 2.5" lift, put F350 blocks in the rear, had 295 (wish I'd have went 35's) Nitto Terra Grapplers put on the stock 17's, installed Bilstein 5100's all around, added an '08 Duty rear diff cover, put in a Shaker 500 cd player out of a Stang, installed Alpine speakers all around, mp3 player adapter, usb power adapter, Husky liner floor mats front and rear, Truxedo Lo-Pro Tonneau Cover, Upfitter high idle (used it today, brrrr), Zoodad, tinted all of the windows, put stainless nerf bars on, and oh yeah did a cat delete on Tuesday night, that should about cover it for the moment .

savage2211 11-06-2008 07:44 PM

Thats cool. So How do you love the sound with the cat Gone????????

SteveBricks 11-06-2008 07:46 PM

Barry's sounds awesome without the cat - I'm too chicken to gut mine. For now.

savage2211 11-06-2008 07:47 PM

Well howdy steve......
