My 89 F250.

I finally was told how to post photos so I figure I would show off my old beater. It has 31,600 miles and is as clean as it looks. I bought it a year ago with 29,000. 460 C6 gas drinking cream puff. I forgot to set the date on my camera and photos were taken today.

Truck looks deadly, and super low mileage, nice ride!

That is really clean. :-X22
Was it parked in a time capsule or something??

Congratulations!

jadmt 10-23-2008 10:03 PM

thanks, I believe it was parked under a car port for most of its life. I paid more than nada (I paid $5K) but I knew that it would be hard to find one cleaner. The interior is like brand new, even cleaner than the outside.

Very nice. Keep it and give it to your Grandkids.

Very nice ride ya got there, I like the way the front end hasn't sagged down over time like the newer model years do too. They still made em "Ford tough" back then.....

Worth every penny even before adjusting for inflation. The absolute best thing you could do to maintain efficient operation, extend life, while greatly reducing having to deal w/ alot of the problems you see mentioned in these threads, switch to synthetic for tranny/differential/transfer, brake fluid & motor oil. Too many reasons for a two finger typer to list. Google any of them using synthetic as the first word and the list benifits make them an easy choice.(include 1 qt. Lucas Synth. Oil Stabilizer w/ motor oil to enhance top end component filming for dry start protection.) P.S. Kinda liked the sidestep extentions!

The previous owner, owned a service station and the oil was changed about every 1500 miles (once a year), I put synthetic motor oil in and gear oil. I changed oil when I bought it even tho the oil only had 500 miles on it. It had been driven less than 500 miles in the year before I bought it.

I have always liked the 78-79 body styles and the 92-96 body styles and that is what I was looking for when I found this one, but the front end on this one is starting grow on me.

BEAUTIFUL truck buddy. Great find. She definately aint no beater. That interior is spot less. I like it better without the rear running boards. Definately hold on to that one untill it wont move anymore. And even then, fix her up and keep her goin haha. Hope you enjoy the truck man.
