Removing cat on '88 F-350

Any ideas or suggestions for removing a cat and replacing it with a non-cat? I know there is some issues with this but i live in the country and no smog tests.

If your exhaust is still in good shape the cheapest way is to take it off and punch it out, then reinstall it. Done that before.

Yeah just use an old piece of rebar or something simmilar, ream the crap out of it till all the bits shake out. Not exactly hight tech but effective.

It's rusty as heck,I was wondering if there was a replacement pipe to buy on the Black Market/E-bay.
Thanks for the replies!

can't you just run a piece of exhaust pipe in its place?

Above answer is the easiest and likely best, but you will also have to create a "Y".

Converter scrap is worth a little cash, so don't through the insides away.
