help!!! exact location of PCV on 02 4.2 - F150
I followed the hose from the valve cover to the intake assembly.
I removed the two torx screws that hold the housing to the intake. This housing has two small diameter hoses (I read that these are to heat the PCV). Now, I do not see the PCV valve. Is it in the housing? How is it removed? Am I on the correct path to a successful PCV replacement on my 02 4.2? |
I think you might not be looking at the PCV valve.
I remembered and old thread..... https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/6...pcv-valve.html |
Well, on second thought, maybe you are loking at the PCV valve.
If this link works, here are some pics of replacement PCV valves. Pcv Valve - 2002 Ford F-150 - AutoPartsWarehouse.com Some PCV valves do have two nipples for connecting lines to, but I don't remember the 4.2 using that style. |
