Phil: Excuse me, where's everybody going?
Piano teacher: To Gobbler's Knob. It's Groundhog Day.
Phil: It's still just once a year, isn't it?

I need to have at least two vehicles highway worthy and loaded for the road in two weeks. Today was the wife's b-day, so we went to Hurricane Ridge. We have a lot to do, but I haven't been able to spend enough time with the family lately, so this getaway was needed.

How rainy was it at the 'Ridge? It rained more than it had in a while today.

You didn't say you were passing through Sequim, Jared! Wish I had known. You should've stopped by my work to say hello!

Didn't really think I was going till last minute. Turned out to be decent, mid 50s, no rain at the top but lots of clouds so basically no view. It was kinda cool walking out to sunrise point and seeing the clouds blow by though. Got a couple pics of me standing about in thin air with the kid in the backpack, fun time overall.
Our anniversary is next month, bu she gave me my present already- a sweet little 380 semi-auto by High Point. Nice gun, fairly light, came with a lifetime warranty. Gonna be nice to try this one out a bit.

Yup, I'm done.

Yuppers,,, back to the grind!!! Classes start tomorrow and when I squeeze that on top of work it means getting up at 4:00am and leaving at 4:30, working from 6:30am to 6:00pm with classes from 5:30pm to 9:30pm on Mondays and Thursdays, and an hour back home for a quick bite to eat, maybe a shower, off to bed and do it all again the next day!!!

Can't say I'll be around much except for weekends, but it doesn't mean I don't love you any more!!! ;)

I need some down time at home, the wife is forgetting what I look like and when I got home Friday the dog growled at me, and the puppy tried to gnaw my leg off.

Ford_Six 09-23-2008 11:15 PM

And who are you again?

Are you home for a while or heading off to save the third world from itself again soon?

Eric C. 09-25-2008 08:02 PM
