sct custom tuners

Hi guys i have a 2007 f 350 6.0 and am looking at the sct custom tuners and was wandering if you can tell me about them? can they do any tune i want. I'm looking about the spartan custom tunes but i cant find anything about them for the 6.0 for on the 6.0. if i can i would like a tune around 120hp that i can run safe wit stock head studs and gaskets. i run a 100hp superchip flashpaq and i haven't had any problems wit it and haven't over boosted it at all.thank you

You'll have to email spartan. Last time I checked there website was still a little rough. I'm pretty sure they have a 120hp tune for the 6.0.

By the way the 6.0 came with head bolts not studs from the factory and I would stray away from the high hp tunes with them.

You might want to try out the guys at innovative also they seem to be a little more responsive than spartan and they are tried and true.

If you already have the sct Spartan has all of their general tunes in their tuning arcives. They also list the HP of each tune. Matt is sure enough about his tuning that he put the up for everyone to try. Even people who have never bought from Spartan.

okay. well i dont own a sct tuner, I have a superchip flashpaq. I can buy the sct tuner from spartan with there tunes in it right.

Yes you can,

Matt at Spartan is extremly busy right now working on his own tuner and the 6.4 stuff so it will be a while before he gets back to you. If you are patient he is the best IMO. There are others out there that you can buy the tuner from and just download his (Matts) tunes from the web archive. For example I emailed the folks at spartan about 3 times from April til June and I just recieved a phone call from them about 2 weeks ago.

Good Luck with your choice,

I think cartmanea is the one that has the tunes stored somewhere, it is no longer at the Spartan website as he does not have anything to do with SCT as his tuner has started shipping and the first shipment of his tuners is already gone from what I heard from him last.

I run the tunes thanks to cartmena and I have used gen street, stock+, aggressive street economy, heavy tow, and hybrid race. I run hybrid race as my daily file. It dramatically increses throttle response. Almost like driving a gas truck but with a serious kick of a sports car. No studs as of current but I don't beat on it either.

this is the link to cartmanea's archive..... he has description at the bottom..

will they work on the excursion? I have heard that there are some minor changes that have to be made.
