No my grandmother lost her house, and most others in my fammily had tree's down and roof damage. We were living in Ashland Kentucky at the time and came down for a couple of weeks a week after. My wife was five months pregnate(long trip). The refinery I was working at durring that time donated two 55 gallon drums of gas, loaded my enclosed trailer with food and all kinds of stuff for my fammily.X2 I have a friend that works there and they done the same for him........My family would not take it(they were ok) took it where the eye came thru and gave it out.

That's cool your job donated all that stuff, I bet it looked like a war zone down there.

I put a few pics from my town in my gallery. They were taken a week after Katrina.

Funny - I don't remember Adam's dog being quite that agressive....

The fishing boat was the pic that grabbed me the most.

Yea those shrimp boats were about a 1/4 mile from water.

Greywolf 10-16-2008 01:54 PM

That's going to be a hard one to figure out how to re-float. Price of haul and damages? Or figure total loss....

Who gets the salvage rights?

I think someone got a new boat.
