429-460 Dual Quad Intake wanted new or used !!
Anyone every used dual quads on there 429/460? i have a 10.5:1 460with 519/541 lift cam 219/232@.050 !! with evry thing else to go with it ..im thinkin about running either 2 edelbrock 500 cfm carbs or 2) holley 390 cfm carbs .. always wanted to run dual quads plus i like the look. i know the set up is obsolete but im determined to make it work .. all replies appreciated fellaz .. anyone that has an intake lying around and want to sale im interested in buying .. might consider a 3- 2bbl tri carb intake ...turbobeepee@aol.com

i didnt know they made a six pack intake for the 460. if you do get it set, post some pics!

I am a bit confused by that. I hope to have a need for one of those in the next couple of years- Is that something they are manufacturing, or is it some kind of used part they have, sitting on a shelf??

I have been running a dual quad on my 460 cobra jet engine for 6-7 years with 660 holly center squirters. Love it. Have not been any problems. I have a78 Bronco built for mud bogging only. Was not a lot of gain going from 2 to 4 but not real interested in going back. But for the right price i might. What are you willing to pay for a weiand dual quad high rise intake and and 2 holley 660 center squirters ready to rock your world.
