Demountables - any one got experience of them??

We're thinking of getting a demountable caravan body for our F-250 for short weekends away when getting the big van out of storage is a PITA. Any one got experience of owning or using one of these at all??

Apollo Motor-homes up in Lancs say that they have one in stock that will fit our vehicle.....

With the way the US dollar is - it might be cheap to import them, they should be able to wire it for the UK voltage too:

haha - good point.

I have used them. I personally prefer them over a towed camper due to being easier to maneuver.
Make sure you have a sway bar though!

Also, depending upon weight of the item, you may need air springs!
