Now that sounds greatOo.Oo. I will bring my canopy Jenny say's she'll make some Mac.salad .

mechmagcn 08-03-2008 09:51 AM

Since my beans were voted as the "official" chapter beans, I'll bring a pot of beans. We will have to see how Donna is feeling, I may be solo.

1996pwrstrk 08-03-2008 01:48 PM

Jeff if it would be easier on Donna you could come up Friday night and stay with us then we could go over to Joe's in the morning.

Thanks for the offer Dave, so far, so good. She will take her second chemo treatment Tuesday and there will be two more before then, so we will just have to see what the side effects are between now and then.

1996pwrstrk 08-03-2008 09:14 PM

Thats a standing offer any time you guys are up this way and Donna needs a rest.

cookie88 08-03-2008 09:20 PM

We'll be there.....let us know what we need to bring.

95Z71 08-05-2008 10:45 PM

Hi guys, i'll be there...I'll think of something to bring also...maybe desert.

brthevio 08-05-2008 11:05 PM

Hey guys, I don't think that I am going to make it. My son has started to think about gas prices and mileage in the 81 and we are discussing selling it and getting a newer ranger. He definatly still wants a Ford though! Depending on what else is going on we may still come up. We will have to wait until it gets a little closer before I know for sure.

jimkidd 08-06-2008 07:57 AM

Aaaa... Uhmmm... Those of you that pray might start praying that I will actually be there by the 6th.
 :-huh

mudder460 08-06-2008 08:20 AM

I can see if Jackie can make her home made mac n cheese.

Aaaaaaaawwwwwww.....c'mon man, you're killing me here.

Look. Just getcha a bigass bomb, nuke all the effin' terrorists til they glow and come on home. How hard can it be?

1996pwrstrk 08-06-2008 12:31 PM

AAAHHHWW come on Jimbo say its not so.

jimkidd 08-06-2008 10:31 PM

I know... it's crap. But the way the flights fall, maybe, maybe not. I'm defiantly not going to be home when I wanted. But there is a better chance for the 6th. Just pray and believe! It works. I promise.

cookie88 08-07-2008 09:25 PM

So....I just ordered a set of 5" stacks for my truck. Anybody interested in having a wrench party at the GTG?

Joe, you got anyplace concrete we could work on trucks?

bigsteve1969 08-07-2008 09:58 PM

im gonna check the on call schedule at work next week and if it works out yal figure yal could put up with a mississippi feller

SUPERDUTY_untouchabl 08-07-2008 10:16 PM

I am not going to make this one either. I work all weekend, and school starting back doesn't help much. Maybe someday I will be able to make it to one. Or hell maybe host one some time, I live on a little lake with a picnic area and stuff or our dock depending on how many showed up.

Don't think for a second you shouldn't come just because you can't bring the truck. We'd all be happy to meet you just the same.

Heck yeah....the more the merrier. I figure Tupelo is maybe three hours away tops so it wouldn't be a bad day trip.

Very true. Conformation e-mail yesterday morning said it will ship Monday. I'll be installing them next weekend if they're here in time.

1996pwrstrk 08-09-2008 08:24 AM

I'll bring the beer and a spare sawsall. I'll check with my dad he might have a big enough hole saw to pop the hole in the bed.

95Z71 08-09-2008 01:30 PM

Where's the wrenching party going to be at?

cookie88 08-09-2008 02:01 PM

At Joe's house up in Beebe.

Cool! It will this Wednesday or when they come in. Give me a ring when they do.:-bigparty

cookie88 08-10-2008 07:45 AM

Oh. When the stacks come in I'll probably just do them at home.....probaby next weekend.

I'm thinking we might still do some wrenching at the GTG. Joe's truck needs some duals.

sweeeet.. I haven't done much to the truck in awhile

I really want to get some blocks for the coils in the front, but all I have seen are 2" blocks which would make the truck truly level. I'm afraid it would look funny. I suppose I could put a 1" under the rear also?

cookie88 08-10-2008 10:26 PM

I agree. Trucks that are "level" look low in the rear. You could swap F-350 rear blocks under it. That would lift the rear about 1.75" and wouldn't require stacked blocks.

I can't say for sure that far out. College starts the 18th and I am not sure I will have a job, so money may be really tight.

Plus I never know when I will be in the hospital in Little Rock again. I have been home a few weeks now. I do have another checkup down there Thursday the 14th. I am sick of that trip down and back. :-X18

According to mapquest Beebe is 151 miles from here. That could take a while in the old truck. LOL I might be asking for directions when it gets closer to the time.

Keep me updated guys (and gals?)

Brian

gramschm 08-11-2008 08:09 PM

I plan on being there with my group, like Scott said just tell me what I can bring.

tojoski 08-16-2008 09:14 PM

Ok, So the GTG is about 3 weeks out, lets take a headcount

Myself and crew will consist of 4, well lets hope there is a 4th by then :)

What do you guys think of setting up shop back by the pond? Its the shadiest spot on the property.
Heck bring your poles, but if you catch something big I get to claim it, HAHA

That doesn't sound good .

Brian_B 08-16-2008 10:03 PM

I go through this every semester. I am adjunct faculty at a college. I never know until a week after school starts if any of the classes will make.

I is a royal pain in the behind, but with me getting the transplant in June, I could not have worked this summer anyway. So having the summers off work...worked out well this time.

I will know more by the end of next week (hopefully).

1996pwrstrk 08-16-2008 10:11 PM

Let us know Joes place is pretty easy to find.
