Poor acceleration and lots of smoke
 

Hi everyone, Im sure this has been discussed in the past but can't find the topic.

Its been a while, but Im having another problem with my 04/F250 PSD6.0

Hole shot and acceleration is very sluggish while spitting out alot of smoke.
Once I get moving it runs fine. But it happens everytime I come to a stop and then accelerate.

Had a new Fuel filter installed about 8,000 mile ago.

Any suggestions?

what color is the smoke?

Mostly Black, but sometimes white

possibly egr, or turbo would be my guess..

check engine light is on and a buddy hooked up the scanner. It did read EGR problem. I guess i'll be calling the dealer tommorrow.
