Algae Diesel. How to get started?

I've sent out a dozen emails to folks about getting started right here on my property.
So far, all the links want to sell me a book or point me to somebody else.
The folks who want to sell the book, dont know of anybody here in Alabama that are making it.

Also, I have not found the 'Algae sellers' yet. They might have some ideas but I dont know who they are. Some are in England, but I dont have that address.
Boy this is frustrating.

Do any of you guys know of anybody who's actually making Diesel from Algae?

Look up a company called PetroSun.
If you can produce algae in significant quantities they are making algal BD.

I am working on a algae project right now. I went onto ebay and for $30 you can get a starter kit. They send you some good info when you buy the kit.

There is a lot of info about algae here: BioDieselNow - Renewable biodiesel fuel

Good luck, Jim

WOW! You aint jist a' whistelin Dixie!
There's books full of reading in that site.
I wanted to get started, get my hands right in it and see how it works.
It looks like (from all that reading) that you need a degree in Chemistry to understand the directions.
Still....I think its the Fuel of the Future.

Next, if this Alga-oil works like it seems, we are gonna need replacment engines for our Pickups that will burn Alga-oil.
Who's got some ideas on that one?
