Thinking about Bio

I am looking at stating to make my own bio with some friends who also can use it.We have a good shot at something like 80 to 100 gals of WVO a week.My question is this what percentage bio can be safely run in a 6.0. Have seen guys say they run 10% to 50% never saw any one use straight bio

my father-in-law runs b100 and has had no issues he has a 05 6.0. the first few tanks plugged up the fuel filters but that's it.

There are a bunch of guys on here that run B100 in their 6.0s w/o issue. I run B20 in the summer and B5 in the winter. They are controlled by the only local dealer. Good luck.

As long as you will devote the time to make QUALITY biodiesel you can run your FORD on B-5 to B-100 depending on ambient temps. Biodiesel is relatively easy to make, quality bio takes more effort, but is worth it for long term engine life.

i noticed you are from Orlando so you can most likely run pure biodiesel if you want.

Mackman, let me know if you do this. I run to Orlando 2x each month from Clearwater.

Check bioDiesel2go (bioDiesel2Go - America's Alternative Fuel) they're in Sarasota and selling it B99/B100 for $4.55/gallon as of today July 11th. 50 gallon minimum order, so $227.50 to start. Includes all state & federal taxes - apparently he's licensed here in Florida.

I know Pinellas County (where I live) decided to run all their diesel vehicles on bio since late 2006, but they haven't made any pumps available to the public yet. My landlord is the water superintendent of Pinellas Utility Co, perhaps can ask him to pretend my white/grey F250's actually painted PUC institutional green. =)
