Spring hangers needed
 

I need to relocate a rear axel foward on a 79 F350 frame. I need some front spring hangers that I can use to mount the rear shackle in a lower position because the frame rises up at the point I want to mount the shackle. Does anybody have an old parts truck or frame I can grind some off of? Do any junkyards have a few of these old trucks around that I may try.

Pull-N-Save is your friend. Take a cordless saw-zall and some extra metal cutting blades. These frames are only mild steel. It would probably be a good idea to call ahead, be sure they will allow the power tools in the yard. Policy seems to flip-flop on things like that.
