So HEY RUFFY? I see you are a traffic cop now....

Pardon me if I find this all ENDLESSLY amusing. 8D

I knew you had a future here, but I never would have guessed how it turned out!

Ever forward, eh?

PS: THANK YOU SO MUCH for the NC effort - I think I see some plans forming, it ought to be something very special.

Evening Dutch,
just stopping in for a quik hit, and this
IF MY BODY WERE A truck...

If my body were a truck, this is the time I would be thinking about
trading it in for a newer model. I've got bumps and dents and scratches in
my finish and my paint job is getting a little dull ... but that's not the
worst of it. My headlights are out of focus and it's especially hard to
see things up close. My traction is not as graceful as it once was. I
slip and slide and skid and bump into things even in the best of
weather. My whitewalls are stained with varicose veins. It takes me
hours to reach my maximum speed. My fuel rate burns inefficiently. But,
here's the worst of it --

Almost every time I sneeze, cough or sputter.....either my radiator
leaks or my exhaust backfires!!!!

Curious...

My truck needs attention and so do I.

I race it on side roads with a smaller engine than many. My thought is that handling matters most - not high speed. It dances on the two laners, and grips well so I can stay in my lane no matter how fast I go. Times are tuff, so fuel is not a thing to throw away. I use every bit of it as if it was going to be the last....

BUT I CAN STILL RUN!

I won't break down if I can help it, but if I do I can be fixed and NOT by a stranger. I will fix myself....

And both paint and clothes are my own choices, I can put on whatever I want to.

I AM THE SAME AS MY TRUCK

It is the mirror image of my own self...

Odd thought - thank you!

Just like a dog or a cat resembles it's owner

Think about it for a second...

Some are big and comfortable, some small, barely held together but run like a top. Some are flashy, some are fast, and some just sorta chug their way through life...

Lots of ways to look at it.

I've seen a lot of marines with either bulldogs or rhodesian ridgebacks. I have a cross between a pitbull and a labrador - a MUTT! But an amazing one...

My truck??? Low budget but almost never lets me down. It has a personality too!
