Lake Murray Benefit Poker Run
3rd Annual Lake Murray Boat Poker Run Saturday June 21st, 2008 The Shrine of North America is known for its colorful parades, circuses, and clowns, but there is also a serious side to this international fraternity of approximately 500,000 men belonging to 191 Shrine Temples or chapters, throughout North America. For 75 years, the Shrine has operated a network of specialized facilities that treat children with orthopedic problems, burns, and spinal cord injuries, up to their 18th birthday, free of charge. Your support is what keeps our Children Hospitals going! $20 per hand and $5 for 1 additional card $1000 for best hand Starting at: Big Bird's Landing (Saturday registration available) 1st Stop: Buffalo Creek (Holland's Landing) 2nd Stop: Riverwinds Landing 3rd Stop: Little River Marina (Big Man Shealy's) (Saturday registration available) Ending at: Rhett Feller's Place All boats must be registered by 1pm Last boat in at 5pm Pre-registration available: 6/19/08 from 7pm-9pm @ Big Bird's Landing 6/20/08 from 7pm-9pm @ Little River Marina **All watercraft welcome** Below is a screen shot of a map of the poker run I made in Google Earth. The map shows exactly where each stop is and the route you need to take to get to them. I could not upload the file on the server, but would be happy to e-mail it to you.
