98 RANGER bolt ons

hello everyone im in the middle of a 302 build up and have no room for internal engine mods to my 4bannger in the ranger and was wondering what kind of bolt-ons are out there its totaly stock and max is around 95mph and i was wondering if they put mph governors on these cars? i can get up to a 100 but then it pushes it right back to 95 in a big surge you can feel.:-X10

Yep, tons of stuff out there for the 4banger but not sure if any specifically for the 98 yet but sure its there. Basically you're lookin at changin the intake, headers, muffler, and computer chip. And yes, you're feeling a speedlimiter (governor) when ya hit 100mph. Its programmed into the factory computer. From what I hear most computer chips will eliminate this setting so you can go faster but as everyone else will do, I advise against driving that fast on the street. Hope this helps and have a great day. :-X01
