where have they hid the temp sending unit
 
hi all .. where is ford putting the temp sending unit on 1992 ranger 2.3 liter...... took 1 1/2 hours to change the 8 spark plugs and another hour looking for sending unit.......thanks if you can help

I can look up the sender on a 97 if that helps.

I have a 87 torbo and the sending unit is underneath the intake.actauly on the lower intake,don't know if it is the same but hope this helps.

look up from under your truck, it is located 4-6" down from the intake
