Need help I.D.ing part and replacing.

I noticed my truck had a noise under the hood. The pulley attached to what I think is a smog pump/ air pump ???,the bearings are going bad and is spitting grease all over. It is right under the A/C compressor, it is attached to the compressor bracket. It is above the powersteering pump, and has a round disc on it. My service book doesn't name the part . It doesn't look hard to change except if I need to remove the pulley. Any help would be appreciated.

Could this be a brake booster vacuum pump . Sorry just trying to learn and hopefully fix this myself

Yeap thats it, is DIY, you can rent the tools to do it in Autozone or some other. Be sure to put the bolts before the pulley. OK?

X2 Jose. Yes, it's the vaccum pump. Very, Very easy to do. All you need is the pulley puller. If you have that tool, it's about a 45 min job. Take the belt off, remove the one hose on it (no liquid in it) Remove the 3 bolts and it's out. Take it to the bench vice, pull the pully, swap bolts to the new one, install pulley. Bolt it back in the truck, attatch vaccum hose, install belt. Drive it like you stole it.

i am 99% sure advance and autozone both can have them next day shipped for about 100 bucks.

I just did mine and I now "hear" the pump a lot more. I hear it on start up and constantly.

Is my pump bad again?
My brakes feel the same, which is they get better with pumping them and kinda soggy on the first time the brake petal is applied.
