79 Bronco 400 to 460 swap ALMOST done,,Need a lil info!

Got the motor set in WITH car manifolds. I just twisted the down pipe a little to clear the frame. That should tie into the existing for now till I getthe headers for it. bought the perches, they fit great, needed to persuade the pass. side a lil. Alt. clears the frame, oil pan clears the axle for now, (4 inch lift) till I get the pan. And now:

Power steering:
Did anyone use the mounts that came with the car engine? Or get the truck mount? I called Auto Zone and they have 2 different hoses for the pump. One is 37 inches and the other is 52 I think. Will the longer clear the mount?
By the way, the mount is for an air conditioner as well, but is not on it.

Throttle linkage:
I tried to hook up the throttle linkage and it is a bit short. Maybe about and inch and a half or so. I noticed there is a hole on the butterfly bracket, just wondering if I can put a ball stud on it to get it to work? Anyone?

HOW did y'all do it?

Your neighborhood junkyard should have all the pieces you need, IF they deal in older stuff... Look for any Ford truck with 460 in the '70's, and it should have all the right accessory brackets.
