2004+ stake pocket templates- cut thru cap
 

Anyone know a good template for cutting the plastic cap to access the stake pockets?

If not, will try the dealer...

Also - anyone with experience placing stuff in the '04+'s pockets - Expect them to be hurky enough for just about anything, but can't find anything here...

The caps pop right off, so when I had to cut mine for my bed rails, I just popped them off and made the cuts. Can't remember, but I seem to recall a slight outline from the underside. You could also get a trim bit and just cut the holes in place if you have some thing like that.

pry the bed caps off, then apply some axle grease to the top of the bed around each bed stake. put the bed cap back on. remove

you should have a fairly perfect outline of the stake pocket
