LSchicago2 04-16-2008 09:38 PM

What specs?

96sherm 04-16-2008 10:30 PM

compare it to the current 5.4... 20% more mpg, 9% more hp, 15% more torque. i'm really looking forward to this unit!!

The specs part of it was automatically generated by the link.... although if you do your math you can work out the power and torque, as well as the fuel economy.

325hp
420lbft
~22mpg

The spec I'm most interested in is the price they will charge for the diesel engine. It'll be more expensive than the 5.4, that's a given, would be very itnerested to know how much.
I would also love to see a dyno run of this engine compared to the 5.4. Could be a good option for those who prefer to run at low RPMs.

now the question is, are those percentages comparing to the current 300hp/365tq 5.4, or are they comparing with the 09 version of the 5.4, which is supposed to be already bumped up a bit...

BigF350 04-29-2008 05:28 AM

I would imagine the current 5.4...
