No...On the 87-91 models, it has a slight difference, than the 92+ models...

Cowl forward has to come off and be swapped...

okay, Well I wonder how hard that is to replace? In my 78, you have to take the windshield out and everything

Recently picked up a new set of Ultra 062 Series rims with center caps, bought them from Tirerack, shipping was a killer at a $150! Now I need to find some tires to put on ithem, was thinking about the Bridgestone Dueller Revo II's but they are a bit spendy. Any other suggestions for good LT tires?

Also chopped off the airhorn and changed a bad rear wheel stud.

I love my goodyear wrangler duratracs. If you want something a little less aggressive, the BFG a/t's are supposed to be great tires, but also spendy. Something very similar to the BFG at a better price is the General Grabber at2's. We have those on a 97 f250 at work, they are a great all-purpose tire.

X2 for the Duratracs. Lots of tread, very little road noise.

Got all the extra bits on the engine, popped in the the condenser, and found out carquest gave me a radiator for a v6 with an auto ( I think it's a v6). Probably won't be able to break in my cam till Sat or maybe even Monday. Also discovered that an ARP stud kit won't clear my Pacesetters. Good thing they came with bolts.

Not sure where you are but the Hankook Dynapro AT's work awesome in snow when they are siped. Great for offroad to.

I scored a windshield wiper knob, shift boot w/plastic frame, seat bolts and a jack handle for free from the junk yard. They looked at me like I was nuts when I wanted to pay for it all when they were trying to close.

I drove it, nothing like driving the old girl around knowing there isn't anything urgent to be done to her :).

It's about a 2 minute job...
  1. Remove the wipers
  2. Unscrew the 4-5 bolts on the inside section of the firewall (You'll see them very quickly)
  3. Unscrew the 2 (3?) screws on the top...They're sorta inset, and in the center...
Then simply do the swap and reverse the order...

P.S-Don't forget to remove the antanae wire, and the washer nozzle hose.

About three months ago a hose clamp broke on my way to work and did a roadside bypass. Last night I finally got this thing out of the way.

I see Fram oil filters... :-bansign

HoFFenSnoFFer 07-20-2012 04:01 PM

Aww come on. No love. 221k you use what the place you work for has on the shelf! A wise old buck once told me "if you need a high dollar filter to get the crap out of your oil you have bigger problems". I've never seen one collapse like i always hear about and i cut mine apart to look for glitter.

I should note i do only use Purolator on my weekend car.
